The Story of Ang On Ang On
We formed Ang On Ang On in late 2025 after performing individually and together in different bands for many years. We took our name as a 'tip your hat' to Eric Clapton! We have a wealth of experience within the band and perform a range of cover songs from bands and performers including The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Billy Idol and The Jam to name but a few. Genres include Rock, Blues, Country and Brit-Pop, as well as sing along classics to liven up any event.

Mondo has been playing music from as young as 9 years old. Now, almost 5 decades later he still dedicates his life to music with studio recording & writing music as well as regular performances in theatres around the country.

A graduate of the University of Arts London, BA (Hons) first class, Mondo has experience in playing all types of guitar, including bass, alongside instruments such as harmonica, saxophone and banjo - as well as being an accomplished pianist.
Mondo has previously played in bands with Kris, with Spike and with Chipper.

Steve 'Spike' - Rhythm & Lead Guitar / Harmonica / Vocals
Kris is a classically trained and experienced guitarist and singer, performing in various bands since the early 2000's. His music style is influenced by a range of artists including Bowie, The Beatles and Eric Clapton.
He has previously played in different bands with Ray, with Spike and also with Chipper.

Spike has played guitar and performed vocals for many years in different bands, including previous collaborations with Kris and with Ray. Influenced by artists like The Rolling Stones & Elvis as well as a love of Country & Western, Spike has a wide musical range. If it's guitar based with a strong vocal, then Spike loves it!!

Chipper - Bass / Vocals
After being inspired hearing Chuck Berry play on Radio Luxembourg, Alan and a few classmates formed a band to play at the School Dance. Alan started off as singer but when the drummer pulled out 2 weeks before the dance due to O Level commitments, someone had to take over the drums - That someone was Alan.
Now almost 60 years later Alan

Now almost 60 years later Alan sill plays those sticks and plays with a smile!

Chipper is a bass player with a wealth of experience, playing over 7000 gigs since the sixties. Influenced by musicians from Beethoven to The Beatles and back again, Chipper has played a wide range of genres from Blues and Country to Rock and Disco, to name but a few genres!
He has previously performed with Alan, with Ray and with Kris at
